Eastern Europe
The Swedish Foundation for Human Rights collaborates with civil society organisations in Eastern Europe with the aim of strengthening human rights, promoting accountability and justice, and creating conditions for transitional justice.

Partnerships for Transitional Justice: Bridging Divides in Armenia, Moldova and Sweden.
During 2025-2027, the Swedish Foundation for Human Rights is implementing a project in collaboration with the Armenian organisation Armenian UN Association (AUNA) and the Moldovan organisation The Centre for Analysis and Prevention of Corruption (CAPC). The aim of the project is to create conditions for knowledge exchange between Sweden, Armenia and Moldova, with a focus on transitional justice, in order to support democratic reforms, protect human rights and strengthen processes for EU accession. The initiative is funded by the Swedish Institute (SI) and is part of the SI Baltic Sea Neighbourhood Programme.
