New interns at the Swedish Foundation for Human Rights

It is us — Rebecca and Mehreen — who are the interns at the Swedish Foundation for Human Rights during the spring term.

After two weeks of introduction, we are now very excited to get started with our work. During the introduction, we have gained a deeper insight into the work of the Swedish Foundation for Human Rights and the international projects run by the Foundation. Particularly valuable has been gaining an understanding of the important role civil society plays in the promotion of human rights, as well as learning more about Swedish development cooperation policy and the cuts to the aid budget.

We look forward to contributing and learning even more during the term!
