We do this through awareness-raising, monitoring, advocacy, and support for human rights defenders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Our thematic focus areas are economic, social and cultural rights, as well as transitional justice \u2013 that is, redress for human rights violations with the aim of achieving sustainable peace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">The Swedish Foundation for Human Right engages with international arenas such as United Nations treaty bodies and the Human Rights Council, as well as regional human rights mechanisms, including those within the African Union (AU) and the Organisation of American States (OAS), to ensure the protection of human rights and to promote sustainable peace. The Foundation collaborates with strategic human rights actors, such as regional human rights institutions and various types of civil society actors at regional, national and local levels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In accordance with our strategy for the period 2021\u20132026, MR-Fonden focuses on the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li5\">Contributing to strengthened compliance with human rights, access to justice, and redress for violations of internationally recognised rights through monitoring and accountability.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li5\">Supporting human rights defenders to promote the long-term development of local civil society capacity.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li5\">Serving as a meeting place and a facilitator of dialogue to strengthen compliance with human rights.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li5\">Through education and advocacy, continuing to promote increased knowledge of human rights and their implications among relevant societal actors.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li5\">Highlighting and contributing to policy development on the links between human rights and sustainable peace, as well as other related areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Med den internationella r\u00e4tten som verktyg arbetar Fonden f\u00f6r m\u00e4nskliga r\u00e4ttigheter (MR-Fonden) med att fr\u00e4mja m\u00e4nskliga r\u00e4ttigheter internationellt &hellip;<\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":30,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-2079","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<title>V\u00e5rt arbete -
